David Llewellyn
Chief Executive
David has a wealth of vending and business knowledge having been involved in the vending business for over 26 years. He has been involved in all aspects of vending: as a Supplier of Ingredients and Equipment; as a National Operator through his own vending company also as a Vending Equipment manufacturer and supplier.

David Bamford
Membership Services Manager
David has worked in the Vending industry for 35 years, starting with a regional operator in 1988 straight from college, as a chef prepping food. After taking a short sabbatical to work in the restaurant industry he returned to vending in the logistics department and then technical services. For the last 21+ years he has worked for a vending equipment manufacture in both Technical and Account Manager roles.

Alex Walsh
Public Affairs Manager
After graduating in 2015, Alex has spent the last ten years working for the former Prime Minister, The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP. During this time, she used her political experience to influence positive outcomes for local constituents and businesses.
Now, as Public Affairs Manager at the AVA, Alex helps shape and deliver the organisation’s public affairs strategy. She works closely with member businesses and key partners to understand how policy changes might affect them. Alex focuses on building constructive relationships with political stakeholders and working to influence government policy for the benefit of AVA members.

Penny Rowell
Accounts Controller
Although a relative newcomer to the vending industry, Penny has over 15 years in bookkeeping and office administration experience. A friendly voice at the end of the phone to help answer and direct any queries that you may have.

AVA Census Reporter
Martin has 30 years’ experience in Vending and the wider Away from Home Hot Beverage industry in the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, China, France and Germany.
In addition to the AVA Census, Martin also produces the annual Market Reports for the European Vending Association, covering another 21 countries.
