Featuring the AVA Annual General Meeting, this will be a fantastic ‘In Real Life’ afternoon hosted by EVOCA UK.

• • • A 20p – 25p point of purchase single use cup levy is on its way! Ireland have introduced legislation to impose a 20 cent consumer levy on every single use cup at point of purchase; Scotland has just reinstated their ‘Expert Panel on Charges and Other Measures’ (EPECOM) to review how to introduce cup charges; Defra has proposed a mandatory take-back scheme but ‘reserved the right’ to impose a single use beverage cup charge; Northern Ireland’s DAERA are considering an outright ban or a 25p per cup charge; Whilst Wales have included the option in their ‘Beyond Recycling’ proposals.
